Bios on the Terrace
Bios is a space that organizes different events, shows, and activities such as concerts, small/alternative theater plays and DJ sets. It is located in the Kerameikos/Metaxourgeio neighborhood and has several venues where all these events take place. One of my favorite parts of Bios is its beautiful terrace which is open during the spring/summer.
Reason to Go
The terrace has a magnificent view of the Acropolis which really makes you feel as though the ruins are part of Athens’s natural landscape. The music, the crowd, and the vibes are pretty cool. It is one of the best places to see the Acropolis while enjoying some nice tunes without sitting somewhere touristy.

Close to many other places that are worth visiting in Metaxourgeio/Kerameikos.
Not far from the center, but a bit far from Syntagma. Also, if you walk there, you should research which streets to avoid, since streets around Omonia Square are considered to be dodgy. Check the tip below.
Tip
You can take the metro to Kerameikos station and walk from there. If you want to go by foot from either Syntagma or Monastiraki, take the route through Psyrri heading towards the western end of it and from there (Ag. Asomaton Street) reach Pireos street.
Crowd and Style
A bit hipster, a bit artsy, a bit trendy; people in their 20s-40s, depending on the occasion and event.
