Heteroclito
Heteroclito is a wine bar located on a street parallel to Ermou Street, the biggest pedestrian shopping street in Athens. It is a rather small place, but there are some tables outside. The name of the bar means someone or something that is composed of diverse parts or things. You can use the word ‘Heteroklito’ to describe a crowd which is diverse and multicultural, which I find very inspiring!
Reason to Go
You can try several Greek wine brands from smaller and rather unknown wineries to bigger and more famous wine producers. Generally, I would say the place is value for money. You can find nice wines at reasonable prices but you can also order something more exclusive, which will also be more expensive. The personnel is friendly and can help you choose among the variety. In addition, they have some side-dishes/tapas, such as a cheese plate or a pie of the day, so you can snack while enjoying your glass of wine. I also really like the setting with the outdoor tables arranged on a pedestrian street.
