Feyrouz

Feyrouz is a small place close to Monastiraki that offers street food from Lebanon and Egypt. It is a family business and it serves, in my opinion, the best lahmajoun in Athens! It also offers falafel, soups, pies with mincemeat, as well as some great vegan options.

Reason to go

Everything is freshly made and you can taste the time and care that went into its preparation. The quality of the lahmajoun dough is really good and the ingredients are healthy. You can also enjoy a cup of tea while eating. During rush hours – i.e. lunch time, you might have to queue up. Even though there are some nice stools and a bench where you can enjoy your delicious food, space is still rather limited.
Opening hours: Monday – Thursday from 12.00 – 22.00 and Friday – Saturday: 12.00 – 23.00.
