Guarantee

Guarantee is a small sandwich place located in Koukaki, close to the Acropolis Museum. Guarantee is ‘guaranteed’ to offer quality and a great variety of ingredients, some of which are considered to be gourmet. Of which, one of my favorites is the chèvre, the French round goat cheese. It also serves salads, burgers, and fresh fruit juices.

Reason to go

To eat a fantastic sandwich! Another reason to visit Guarantee is that it is conveniently located close to the Acropolis Museum and the Koukaki area. If you are uncertain about what to order, ask for their advice. People are really friendly and will be happy to help you out!

Just to give you an idea, for your sandwich you can choose ciabatta or baguette for the bread and for fillings there’s jamon serrano, a special type of Spanish ham, Parma prosciutto, or a local spicy salami. Also on the menu is a smoked local cheese from Metsovo which is absolutely delicious if you like strong flavors. Other very tasty and unique Greek cheeses you may choose for your sandwich include the famous graviera and katiki, a soft and creamy Greek cheese originating from an area called Domokos. There are no seats inside Guarantee, so you have to take your order to go. A sandwich costs around €4, which is a good value considering the quality of the food.
