Blue Fox

Blue Fox is a swing club/bar located in Exarcheia, on Asklipiou Street. It is a bit further from the majority of bars located in Exarcheia and the facade of the place makes it impossible to walk in randomly, in case you haven’t heard about it before.

Reason to Go

It’s the place to go if you want to dance to swing and rock & roll tunes or if you would like to be in a place where other people will be crazy-dancing to the music. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the decor gives you the feeling of an 80s discotheque. Also, as it is quite spacious, it is ideal for large groups looking to have some fun on a Saturday night when most other places will be crazy crowded.

Often, you will run into groups from dance clubs whose moves and retro clothes will make you think you are taking part in a 50s movie. The owner is a very cool guy who started this place out of his love for the music genre and, consequently, he does not treat it as a business, but as a way of living. He named it after a legendary 50s bar called Ble Alepou in Greek which translates to ‘blue fox’. Dancing lessons also take place several days during the week.
