Kiki de Grèce

Kiki de Grèce is a wine and tapas bar next to Blue Bird on the Ipitou pedestrian street, close to Syntagma. It has a great selection of Greek wines and good bargains if you decide to go by the bottle. They also offer some snacks, the menu changes frequently, and usually there’s a dish/pie of the day, which will be written on a big blackboard in the middle of the room.

Reason to go

The atmosphere is lovely and romantic with low lighting and outdoor tables. At Kiki de Grèce, you can enjoy some very nice wine brands and quality food/snacks that are a good value for money. I especially adore the spinach Quiche Lorraine and the tomato/cheese bruschetta! The wine bar is close to Syntagma and the pedestrian street on which it is located spares you the traffic noise from busier streets, giving you the feeling that you are not in the heart of the city.

In the third picture is the buffet of the “Aperitivo” they have on Wednesdays. Simple but nice things you can enjoy by ordering the specific wine that they have chosen for the day – ask before you order.
